Land Structure was formed in 1984 to take advantage of the ever-increasing landscape industry, particularly in the Milton Keynes area. The company now functions from two offices, the Milton Keynes Head Office, which is the accounting and administration base, with our Regional Office in Lakenheath, Suffolk, increasing our coverage of East Anglia and the South East.

The experience of its founders has been compounded over the years, and the company is now well-founded and established within the field of commercial, industrial and leisure landscaping, with a reputation for excellence.  

Meet The Staff

DIRECTORS

Four Directors head the company management. Mike Miller, based at Milton Keynes, and Tom Callis, based at our Lakenheath Office, are Joint Managing Directors, whilst two non-executive directors, David Adams (Chairman) and Frank Cundell, use their successful business expertise to the benefit of the company.

  Mike Miller (Joint Managing Director) has an Honours Degree in Forestry and Soil Science and is based at Head Office in Milton Keynes. After spending a year overseas he joined Land Structure in 1986. A Director since 1987, he has been instrumental in expanding the company and oversees all estimating and contracts, thus maintaining our continued competitive and accurate pricing.
 

Tom Callis (Joint Managing Director) joined the company in 1996 to set up the Lakenheath Regional Office, and following continued success joined the team of Executive Directors. Tom contributes to the overall company management, drawing on his past experience as Quantity Surveyor, Estimator and Contracts Administrator within the construction and landscape industries.

MILTON KEYNES  Head Office:

  Jenny McGee (Company Secretary) joined the company in 1998 and has overall responsibility for all accounting and payroll functions, monthly management accounts and office administration.
  John Lusby (Contracts Manager) joined the company in 1998. He has worked within the industry for a number of years and is responsible for much of the day to day site management of the head office contracts.
  David Day (Contracts Manager) joined the company at the end of 2003 and now running a whole range of projects. He is also a fully qualified Safety trainer and as such is taking on an important role in all aspects of Health and Safety.
  Tim Duckenfield is based at Head Office and his responsibilities are varied including Estimating, Contracts Administration, Training co-ordination and Health & Safety management.
  Lee Stephenson, quantity surveyor and buyer, has a number of years experience working within the construction industry and has strengthened the team.
  Alison Stewart assists Jenny in accounts administration.

LAKENHEATH  Regional Office:

    Donna Jones (Contracts Manager) has recently joined us and brings a wealth of experience gained within the industry. This includes substantial horticultural knowledge and an understanding of the practical aspects of commercial horticulture.

 

  Paul Schade (Contracts Manager) moved to Land Structure from a large national company and has rapidly become an invaluable member of the team, working alongside Tom and Donna in Regional Office operations.

 

Mike Tong, former Managing Director and a founder of Land Structure, has recently retired but continues as a consultant.
